ORange, the first and only wavefront aberrometer that attaches to the surgical scope, is currently the focus of a multi-center prospective, randomized clinical study for correcting astigmatism in cataract patients. Clinical data from previous studies as well as current commercial field data show that ORange is superior or equivalent in accuracy and reproducibility to other wavefront aberrometers, and when used in the OR to guide astigmatic correction procedures - reduces postoperative cylindrical outliers and mean residual cylinder.
